What happens at Rehearsals?

Rehearsals take place on Mondays in the East Horsley Village Hall.  It tends to rain on a Monday night, so it's a good time for a rehearsal.

Arrive around 7.45 for an 8 o'clock start.  Some people help to put out chairs.  If you're new, you'll be especially  warmly welcomed!

We usually start with entertaining 'warm-up' exercises.

Around 9 o'clock we have a short break for a chance to talk ...

Three altos discuss the concept of 'The Pastoral Idea' as it pervades Vaughan Williams' music

Rehearsals end at about 10 o'clock, and those who can help, pack away!

Despite their erudition, those same altos do not shy away from their share of labour!
